The Trustees

Jacqueline Natt: Chair I was a volunteer at Marah for several years before becoming a trustee and now chair of trustees. I am passionately committed to helping the homeless and vulnerable of the Stroud area and appreciate Marah’s welcoming and non-judgemental attitude to people who are struggling. I think we offer a unique service to our guests.

Jim Coubrough: Treasurer I joined Marah as a volunteer soon after moving here from Dorset.  As a committed believer in Jesus Christ, I had previously helped people with their financial problems as a volunteer with Christians Against Poverty.  Marah is a lifeline for many people.  As a trustee and now treasurer, I’m glad I can do a little to help.

Tina Cutler: Secretary Looking for purpose and wanting to support people in challenging situations, I became a volunteer at the drop-in. I believe that what we do is really valued and worthwhile and so I accepted an invitiation to become a trustee in 2018. I love the way that the drop-in is  open to everyone and that our guests find our food and services really helpful.

David Drew: Trustee A Marah Trustee since 2010 with a break in 2015.  MP for the Stroud Constituency 1997 – 2010 and 2017 – 2019.  Local Councillor on many occasions.  Previous Chair of Forest Green Rovers and still involved with the Club through the Community Trust.  Involved with setting up Stroud FoodBank and participated in many other Stroud charities and voluntary organisations. Worshiper at St. Cyr’s Church, Stonehouse.

Rev Keith Rudman: Trustee The Stroud Baptist Church minister joined Marah as a trustee in 2018.

Cherril Pope: Trustee Served as a volunteer and appointed trustee on 18 January 2023.
