Drop in volunteers vacancies

We are currently looking for bank volunteers on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Marah, whether helping out in the kitchen, assisting with food prep or being the first friendly face our guests see, providing a welcoming, friendly and supportive atmosphere to our guests.

If you’re good at serving teas and coffees or prepping food with a smile we’d like to hear from you!

We are looking for flexible volunteers who are happy to help out either every other week or as needed to cover holiday/illness.

The Recruitment Process

If you’re interested in helping out, please get in touch by phoning 01453 367006 or emailing servicesmanager@marah.org.uk. We’ll ask you to fill out a short application form, then invite you for an informal chat about the role and what we do at Marah.

Please note: applicants for Drop-in roles will need to be available for a minimum of two sessions per month and volunteers must complete a DBS check before starting with us.

We aim to keep the process as short as possible and – if suitable – will have you volunteering with us within four weeks from receipt of application.
