Since the start of lockdown last year, demand for Marah’s food has increased by 100%. We have gone from serving around 50 takeaway meals per session in May 2020 to the present figure of up to 100 meals. People are collecting meals for others in their household or for family and friends who can’t make it to the drop-in. We have served over 6,000 meals since April 2020 – including an amazing 1,018 in September alone.
