Two girls, Freya & Olivia
spent part of their school holidays baking cakes and then holding a sale
in the village of Box and Minchinhampton. As well as the cakes, they sold some
of their old books, toys and dvds.
They raised an amazing £370 !! Many thanks to the friends and neighbours
in Box.
They felt that lockdown was hard for everyone but it must be extra hard
for those without homes and families ….and so they wanted to help.
They spent some of the money on treats for the guests at Marah
(chocolate and crisps) but most of the money (over £300) will go towards items
needed by Marah. They also collected 2 boxes of toiletries donated by the
friends and neighbours in Box and Minchinhampton.
